DAY SERVICES
Day Habilitation Group
Activities center on personal interests such as daily living skills, recreation and leisure activities,
self-advocacy skills, and accessing community resources. A gerontology program is available for older adults and those experiencing dementia. The majority of groups are maintained at a ratio of 4:1. Individuals are grouped with individuals of their choosing or others who have expressed a similar interest. We want to help you achieve your dreams and goals while developing your life skills. By sitting down with you to learn what you enjoy most, we can help you look for opportunities to meet your goals. You may want to learn and have fun in a small group setting at the agency or you may prefer to go with your group into the community to explore new opportunities. It’s all up to you. And because you may change your mind on what you want to do, we offer the flexibility you need to live life to the fullest.
Day Habilitation Individual
Our goal is to provide quality, individualized services and supports through a 1:1 ratio. The individual with disabilities, through their PCISP, drives all aspects of the program. The goals they set are up to them. Each day can be different from the next, you have the flexibility to make your life filled with friends, new experiences, and learning opportunities.
The Arc of LaGrange County provides the individualized support you need to achieve your full potential and gain your independence in the community. Our services enrich the lives of those served by enabling them to live, work, and volunteer in our community. Our programs in turn enrich our community as individuals with disabilities share their skills, stories, and potential with their colleagues, friends and neighbors.
